Ex- BBC Consultants Participate in MPs' Grilling Following Assertions of Bias in Leaked Memo

Ex- British Broadcasting Corporation consultants speaking in front of MPs

We open with queries from Conservative MP Caroline Dinenage, that chairs the committee.

She initiates by giving context to the unauthorized document prepared by Michael Prescott and printed in the Telegraph.

"I do not desire the BBC tilting in any particular direction, I simply desire it straight, fair and fair," he says.

When asked if he believes the British Broadcasting Corporation is structurally prejudiced, Prescott responds: "No, I do not. It is important to note, numerous aspects the BBC does is top-tier - both informative and fictional shows."

Nevertheless, he states: "There remains substantial tasks that requires attention at the BBC."

The second former external BBC consultant interviewed by the committee, Caroline Daniel, remarks she views the BBC very seriously and that it maintains a "persistent practice and lively discussion" on dynamic and complex topics.

"Whether the BBC was prepared to conduct a proper conversation and debate and take action?" she asks herself. "From my perspective, yes they were."
